As of late, my favorite way to wear my X Jewellery bracelets is stacked! There are so many colors available now, you can create looks with lots of different combinations. I'm going to share a few of my favorites with you in this blog post. Let me know which you like best!
Combo #1: Keep it cool. These bracelets in Pale Green, Navy, Turquoise, Grey and Ocean Blue look great worn individually, too.
Combo #2: Think pink! This bright arm party features bracelets in Mellow Yellow, Red, Soft Apricot, Hot Pink and Bordeaux.
Combo #3: Dark and stormy. This is one of our favorite combos because you can wear it with anything. Combine black, brown, navy, or whatever catches your mood! From top to bottom, the X colors are Deep Petrol, Black, Brown and Red.
Combo #4: It's Fall, y'all! With the X colors of Brown, Red, Khaki and Classy Camel, this is a great palette for autumn. It pairs perfectly with cozy sweaters and conjures up visions of falling leaves and pumpkin spice lattes. Mmmm...
One of the best things about an armful of X Jewellery is that it's very lightweight, so you can have a really full, chunky look without feeling weighed down! We've kept these looks very simple with only the color X links, but you can very easily customize your bracelets by adding cute and meaningful links of sterling silver or bronze.
We'll be back soon with more of our favorite styles from X Jewellery!

Maybe you've noticed this hashtag on our Instagram posts, or seen the words hanging in our shop in Bellville, but what do they mean? What is "Let In The Lovely" about? I'm glad you asked! It's what we're all about at Coco and Duckie. Letting in the lovely is in our hearts, minds, and every choice we make as a company.
We run everything through the "Let In The Lovely" filter. Will it bring some loveliness to our clients' lives? Encouragement is of utmost importance to the Coco and Duckie girls. That's a big part of what lovely means to us: it's about taking the time to enjoy and appreciate the loveliness that exists in the world around you.
Loveliness exists in art, in nature, in other people. Loveliness is perceived differently by everyone, whether it's drinking a nice cup of tea, going to a museum, meditating in a garden, wearing your new favorite earrings, or the time spent shopping for that new pair. It's about taking the positive and sharing it with others and continuing a chain of happiness that can grow beyond each of us.
This is one of the primary reasons that we love artist-made jewelry. One person's passion, hard work, and creativity is incorporated into your wardrobe and life, extending that creativity and spreading it into the universe. It's why we love finding everyday essentials peppered with positivity that will bring a smile to your face and to those whom you gift with these little treasures. These are just a few of the ways we "Let in The Lovely" at Coco and Duckie, and we'll be sharing more in future posts.
We hope your time spent with us online or in our store in Bellville brings some loveliness into your life, and we hope to continue to inspire you to let even more lovely in. Everyday.
We'd love for you to share how you Let In The Lovely! Please let us know in the comment section below.
Does everybody have to sing "Hollaback Girl" when they are spelling the word 'bananas,' or is it just me? The Banana Banana earrings by N2 are SO much fun! Whether you are paying homage to Gwen Stefani or Carmen Miranda, you can liven up your ensemble with these fruity accessories. Let's see how Allison, Coco, and Duckie wear their Bananas!
Duckie went for a somewhat minimal look, although definitely with a fun twist, in a Tiki-inspired vintage shift dress and southwestern embroidered denim jacket.
"I love accessories that cause people to do a double take. These earrings definitely check that box!"
Coco went for a "Carmen Miranda as a Bobby Soxer" look, with a Hawaiian-inspired skirt by Pinup Girl Clothing and a bright yellow top. She kept the colors bright while only using one pattern--because, you know, she wouldn't want to do too much. ;)
"If you didn't know, Carmen Miranda is one of my major style icons and has been since I was 7 years old. Obviously, as soon as I saw the Banana earrings, I knew I needed a pair! I wear these a lot, with all kinds of clothes and looks. I had to go with an homage to Carmen for the blog post, and I knew my Parrot skirt from Pinup Girl Clothing was just the ticket!"
Allison is sleek and simple in her cute black tee dress from Southern Trends, but she adds a little quirky fun with the banana earrings! Allison's style is impeccable (as you can tell from her appearances in other blog posts), and I love how she has added very subtle southwest influences with the Mishky Bracelets. Great job, Allison!
"These earrings always make me feel a little extra festive for any occasion!"
Who would have thought that such a good source of potassium would also make such a cute accessory? What about you? Are you willing to give the Banana Banana earrings a go? Let us know in the comments below.
See you next week!
Any agenda user knows there are actually at least 2 momentous "year end" events: January 1st, when you start using a new wall calendar, and August 1st when you can use your new agenda!
The 2018 collection of agendas and accessories has arrived, and they just keep getting better and better each year! Here's the lowdown on the new agenda collection:
Let's start with something really, really fun, shall we? What could be more inspiring for keeping track of all your appointments and important dates then HOLOGRAPH?!?! This is definitely Coco's favorite out of the new collection (surprise, surprise). This agenda is bright, fun, metallic, and I have a feeling that with the mere act of opening the agenda bringing a disco party to mind, she will be SO ORGANIZED this year!
ban.do agendas are the one exception to that whole "don't judge a book by it's cover" rule, because they are just as cute on the inside as they are on the outside! Coco's favorite illustration in this year's agenda? February! The lovely makeup watercolor illustrations by Danielle Kroll are so cute, it's gonna be hard to not skip ahead!
We have the holograph ban.do available in the new medium spiral bound size, which we love!
We're looking at life through rose colored glasses with the Rose Parade agenda, beautifully illustrated by Helen Dealtry! We have all three sizes available: the original mini, the new mini spiral and the large spiral!
What is Gabby's favorite part of the new agendas?
The bangs flow chart! Artist Becky Simpson knows what is going on. This chart is so accurate--like, of course we want to look like Zooey Deschanel.
With cover art by Maddie Nye, this agenda starts off on the right track. No Bad Days is the perfect mantra for a new year, plus it's got plenty of room to keep track and make notes about all the GREAT days!
Forever starts now! Denise is all about the affirmations this year, so what better way to start a new month than with some good vibes? ban.do agendas OVERFLOW with good vibes!
Anyone who knows Duckie knows that this is 100% true! Your agenda's got you, Girl. This agenda is the perfect size to go everywhere with you so you can stay on schedule! We also have it in the large size, in case you have big plans.
Float through the rest of this year with peace of mind, like these little swans illustrated by Leah Goren, knowing that your ban.do agenda has you covered! Between the adorable illustrations and the most convenient monthly and weekly break downs, it makes dentist appointments 100% more fun, because you get to put them in your agenda!
Share your favorite from this year's collection in the comments below!
I love pastel colors! I swear, 75% of my jewelry is pastel, although my clothes are another story. That's why I was over the moon when I found this pastel Tiki print dress from Pinup Girl Clothing! With this nice rosy beige, baby blue, pink and black print dress, I have so many options for styling + accessorizing!
Of course, I paired the Donut earrings with a pair of my mini ballerina earrings. I have them in a few colors; they have become my everyday staples! I wear these at least three times a week, depending if I have enough time to be really thoughtful about my accessories. Otherwise I just pop on some ballerinas, because I know they'll be cute.
Allison is relaxed, yet perfectly put together, today! The Donut earrings add just the right amount of cheekiness to an otherwise very modern and casual look.
Doesn't Duckie look so cute? I love that vintage jumpsuit! She has a great eye for vintage; her closet would make you drool!
I love the floral print romper; the colors in the Donut earrings perfectly accent it and create a really fun outfit. She's ready for whatever this day may bring: shopping, coffee, Tiki party, she'll look cute for all of it!
It's National Doughnut Day! That means we've gotta eat all the doughnuts, right? Well, before we can eat the doughnuts, we've gotta make the doughnuts! Duckie whipped some up the other day, and they were simply amazing. It was a great way to usher in the weekend with some good coffee, snacks, and company!

She made the doughnuts! (Totally thinking of this guy the whole time Duckie was talking about this. lol) These doughnuts pair especially well with Vietnamese Iced Coffee, a favorite of mine and Duckie's.
Let us know how your doughnuts turn out! We'll be back with more recipes soon. Have a great weekend!
