I’m so excited that the holidays are just around the corner. It's easy to consider as I look out the window and see dense fog hanging in the trees. It looks so terribly cold outside. A quick check of the temperature reveals it is 61 degrees. I checked the temperature in Paris, France and it is also 61 degrees! Although we won't be able to stroll the Champs-Élysées and nibble on crêpes, we can still enjoy a bit of Paris this week.
Tomorrow through Saturday, November 7, we will have oodles of Parisienne jewelry in the shop and it’s waiting for you to take it home with you! Many of you attended our Springtime in Paris Trunk Show last March and KNOW how wonderful this hand enameled art jewelry is!
Why come to this Trunk Show? If you appreciate art, wearable art, Fabergé and tiny treasures, you will be so happy that you popped in. You will not find jewelry from the 'Sea of Sameness' but something that will make you feel like saying 'ooh la lahhh'! Did I mention you will be saving 10% on those little jewels? Yes, you will be.
But like Cinderella at the ball, it will end all too soon. The Autumn in Paris Trunk Show will come to a close at 6pm on Saturday the 7th and the jewels will fly away home on Monday morning! Fleeting but fun, you will know that coming to the show was in your best interest and maybe you will find a bauble for a Christmas present or two.
On November 7, you'll find many booths set up in the Bishop Pavilion/Mini Park for the Bellville Farmers Market and more booths around the Square for Bellville's Market Day. If you're thinking of adopting a rescue dog, you'll find Animal Friends Shelter on the Square with a few very lovable dogs that need a loving home!
For those who love minimalism and natural stones, the Grayling Jewelry Trunk Show is for you! Starting Wednesday, November 11th and continuing through November 28th, you will find jewelry that is hand crafted in the USA and a joy to wear. Here's a clue for you, check back on our blog next week for more on our Grayling Jewelry and the fun photo shoot that will put you in the know about one of our favorites!

Downtown Bellville will be spruced up for the Holidays while you listen to live music, shop Trunk Shows, watch an art demonstration, enjoy the beer garden, get an autograph at the book signing, sign up for prizes to win while you have your fill of food and drink when you visit each of your Thursday Night Out hosts.
Your hosts this year are: Coco and Duckie, Amy's Unique Boutique, Farm to Market Produce, Southern Trends, Buck Fergeson Originals, Market on Main, Michele Jewelry, Alternatives, Holland St Gallery, Yellow House Antiques, Rocking B Cowboy Supply, Treasure Crafts, Spirit T's, Cottonwood Cottage, A Blast From the Past and the Bellville Chamber of Commerce. Also, Cowboy will be firing up the bellows and offering you a demonstration in the Phenix Blacksmith shop, next door to Rocking B Cowboy Supply at East Main.
We're looking forward to the first Christmas in our new home at 8 North Holland. We will be decorating for the holidays beginning Saturday night and can't wait for you to see all the holiday treasures and gifts we have found for you! By the time we open on Tuesday morning, November 10, you will see why we have declared 'Make a Joyful Noise' as our holiday theme!
