We adore the work of Phthalo Ruth which was founded by Meghan Kreger, a Brooklyn-based designer. Her work is simplistically chic and encourages the consumer to daydream and make them a reality as we can see it represented in her work! She explores themes like the little daily activities that most take for granted. She highlights the little details that become the main focus. From cocktails with friends to sitting alone in a quiet cafe, there is beauty in the simple things. She utilizes colored pencils, crayons, gouache, marker and other rudimentary materials that help bring her closer to a wonder-like state of play.
