It's Mad Hatter Day!

A very merry un-birthday to you!

Pull up a chair and have a spot of tea but beware of the sleeping dormouse.

Today we are celebrating Mad Hatter Day.

In John Tenniel’s illustrations of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” he drew a white slip placed on the hat of the Mad Hatter that read, “In this style 10/6.”

So it is only fitting that we celebrate such an occasion on October 6th.

But don’t tell the Queen of Hearts she might have your head.

Mad Hatter Day is a day to celebrate this classic character and all his charming madness. Today reality is ridiculous and silliness is sane.

What better way to celebrate than with a cup tea? Why not make it a tea party? Gather your friends to celebrate this splendid occasion. Wear a hat that is fit for a hatter, and don’t be afraid to go mad. After all, the best people are.

Find your Wonderland.

Simply look at the world around you.

You might find that wonderland is not too far away.
